The Institute of Computer Literacy and Training is an autonomous institution registered under the Indian Public Trust Act. 1882 (Govt. of West Bengal). Vide Reg. No. IV - 130100031/2023 Indian Trusts Act, 1882 is a law in India relating to private trusts and trustees. The Act defines what would lawfully be called as a trust and who can legally be its trustees and provides a definition for them. The Indian Trusts Amendment Bill of 2015 amended the Act and removed some restrictions on investment of the monetary assets by the trust in certain investments. But at the same time, it enabled the government to scrutinise the trusts' investments at will

We are successfully registered under the Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Government of India. The UDYAM Registration Number is UDYAM-WB-15-0025862. The Government of India has introduced MSME or Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises in agreement with Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development (MSMED) Act of 2006. These enterprises primarily engaged in the Production, manufacturing, processing or preservation of goods and commodities and also engaged in Service Oriented sectors. MSMEs are an important sector for the Indian economy and have contributed immensely to the country’s socio-economic development. It not only generates employment opportunities but also works hand-in-hand towards the development of the nation’s backward and rural areas. According to the annual report by the Government (2018-19), there are around 6,08,41,245 MSMEs in India.
We are successfully registered under NGO Darpan, managed by NITI Aayog, Government of India. The Unique ID of VO/NGO is WB/2023/0346334. NGO Darpan is a platform that provides a space for interface between voluntary organisation/NGOs and key Government Ministries, Departments and bodies. The platform seeks to bring about a greater partnership between the government and the voluntary sector and foster better transparency, efficiency and accountability. NGO Darpan was started as an initiative by the Prime Minister’s Office to create and promote a healthy partnership between voluntary organisations/NGOs and the Government of India. Earlier maintained by the erstwhile Planning Commission, it is now managed by NITI Aayog.
